What is the life expectancy of a fitbit? i have worn mine daily since i got it in july and the case part of the device has come unglued. i have already contacted fitbit. if they don't replace it, i guess i will have to buy a new one. if they only last three-four months, that'll be $400/year. richard. Long and short of the story i do not seem to get a long life span out of my fit bits im now on my 4th unit and im tierd of having to replace the unit after every 8 months or so, so here is the real question what is the designed life span of a fitbit flex. i have tried to reach out to my local support but well still n ot holding my breath.. Does the fitbit one have a life span? i've had mine for almost 3 years and i have worn everyday since i got it. i've never had an issue with my fitbit, it's always synced ok, woken me in the morning with it's vibrating alarm and always counted steps..
I have had six fitbit devices. in my experience, and from what i’m reading, the average life expectancy of a device is one year. i’m sure this is planned, but i’m sick of it.. Real advise would have been telling you to use a charger that doesn't push more amps than your fitbit needs for maximum battery life. but i haven't been able to find any documentation on this. that said the fitbit manual says to use a pc or a ul rated charger....
